Cerro Castor could be the southernmost ski area in the World.  Located in the southern tip of Patagonia, close to the city of Ushuaia, Cerro Castor ski resort is on a southern facing slope, fittingly.  It provides around 2,625 feet of skiable terrain for skiers of all abilities, ranging from very approachable beginners hills to very steep, advanced slopes.  Because of its geographic location, directional situation, and employment of an advanced snowmaking system, the Cerro Castor ski mountain is able to maintain consistently manicured and snowy pistes.  The fantastic, reliable conditions, along with high speed, modern lift access, and varied on piste terrain makes Cerro Castor a popular destination for families and training olympians alike.  There are also numerous off-piste options available for the advanced skier and adventure seeker.
