By Bus

 
From Buenos Aires and other urban centres throughout Argentina, buses run to the city of San Carlos de Bariloche.  Some of the names of the bus companies include: Chevallier, El Valle, La Estrella, TAC,  and Via Bariloche. From the bus terminal in San Carlos de Bariloche, buses run to Villa La Angostura, which is the name of the town at the base of Cerro Bayo ski resort.  Bus companies that make the trip from Bariloche to Villa La Angostura include Turismo Algarrobal and Albus.  There is also a direct bus from San Carlos de Bariloche to the resort via Andesmar.

Flight arrangements can be made from a number of airports, both national and international, to Teniente Luis Candelaria airport in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche.  Some airlines that serve TLC are Aerolíneas Argentinas, LAPA, LADE, and Southern Winds.
