We are able to book van transportation as part of your package to La Parva from Santiago airport or your Santiago hotel to your desired La Parva Hotel with our partner Santiago Adventures. We do not recommend driving yourself to La Parva from Santiago as the road up and down to La Parva is one of the narrowest, steepest roads to get to a ski resort in the world. If you really have to do it recommend doing it in the light.

Because of the difficulty of this road, on weekends and holidays, all travel on the road from Santiago to La Parva is one-way only, alternating morning and evening. This allows the narrow road to safely accommodate the morning and afternoon traffic flow.

For those looking for an extra thrill or quick ride to the mountains from the Santiago Airport, Heli Transfers are available.    For those people travelling by themselves or looking to just go up to Valle Nevado, El Colorado, La Parva or Los Farrellones for the day we recommend the transportation services of www.skitotal.cl orwww.skivan.cl that do daily trips from Santiago or shared van transfers.   Santiago to Valle Nevado (Ascending) - 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM. In order to ascend before 1:30, international flights should be scheduled to arrive prior to 10:30 AM. Valle Nevado to Santiago (Descending) - Depart Valle Nevado before 6:00 AM or after 4:00 PM. Evening international flights should be scheduled to depart after 6:00 PM. There are no restrictions on weekdays, except when it is a local holiday. Should you be delayed, you may be required to wait until the evening when uphill traffic is allowed again. Spend the day exploring Santiago. Road Closure Though well maintained by the Chilean Ministry of Public Works, snow storms can and do cause the road to close. Valle Nevado Ski Resort is not responsible for the condition of the road. All guests should be aware that the possibility exists for road closures to prevent access to or exit from the resort. There are financial obligations involved. Your vacation purchase is considered by Valle Nevado to be consent to these obligations. Guests who are unable to drive up to Valle Nevado while the road is closed will be directly responsible for their accommodation and other expenses in Santiago or elsewhere. The nights that are not used at Valle Nevado will be credited to their accounts. Guests will be able to choose whether to transfer the credit to their extra services account (ski lessons, bar bills, etc.) or use the credit toward a future reservation within the same season. Guests who are unable to descend from Valle Nevado and must spend the night in the resort will be charged the full rate for their first night's accommodation. However, beginning the second night, a 50% discount is applied to the normal rate.
